This commercial flooring installation was executed for a state-of-the-art medical center project led by the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Commencing on November 11, 2025, this project required specialized surface solutions tailored to the stringent operational, hygienic, and durability demands of a modern healthcare environment. The scope of work encompassed comprehensive subfloor preparation—including moisture mitigation, self-leveling substrate treatment, and surface priming—to ensure long-term structural integrity and seamless bonding. TFS installed high-performance, clinical-grade surface materials designed to withstand continuous foot traffic, heavy rolling loads from medical equipment, and rigorous daily sanitation protocols using harsh chemical disinfectants. To adhere to strict infection control standards, the installation incorporated continuous heat-welded seams and integral flash coving along wall boundaries, eliminating seams and crevices where bacteria and moisture could accumulate. Precision transition profiles were integrated across corridors, patient care areas, and administrative spaces to facilitate smooth, barrier-free transport for gurneys, wheelchairs, and mobile diagnostics. Executed under phased scheduling to minimize disruption and maintain strict air quality containment, the completed installation delivers a highly durable, low-maintenance, and aesthetically elevated foundation for the facility.
