Texan Floor Service has been hard at work completing the Broadstone Lofts project with ICONstrux Design+Build. This project is located at 1 Hermann Park Court in Houston, Texas.
The finishes for this project consist of carpeting from J&J Flooring’s Atmospheric and Emulsioncollections; luxury vinyl tile from J&J Flooring’s Tatami collection; porcelain and decorative mosaic tiling from Roca Tile’s Norfolk collection, Ceramic Technic’s Napoli Encaustic collection,
Daltile’s Color Wheel, and Glass Horizons collections, as well as Porcelanosa’s Gravity Aluminumcollection; in addition to brick veneer from General Shale’s Carriage house collection.

Texan Floor completed this 25,000 square foot client-specified custom installation just in time for the Christmas holidays.  Performing an installation of this scale in an occupied senior living facility posed a number of logistical challenges, but Texan Floor leveraged its technical expertise and 32 years of experience in the flooring trade to ensure minimal tenant disruption while meeting all client deliverables.  Texan Floor listens to the needs of its clients and builds custom-tailored installation procedures to meet the individualized requirements of each project.  Call us and schedule an appointment today.  We’d love to build out a project specifically for you.

This spectacular sanctuary celebrates healing and rejuvenation in a tranquil setting within the luxurious 18-acre property of The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa.

The vision is to provide the ultimate guest experience throughout the spa. The challenge was to find a large, light colored ceramic or porcelain tile with the subtle look of wood for the manicure & pedicure area. Several tests were conducted in order to find the tile and grout that best stood up to water overflow and allowed the easiest clean-up of spilled nail polish. The winning combination integrated beautifully into the spa’s serene garden environment.

Student Achievement

This concept study focuses on the development of an existing retail space with special attention to LEED requirements. Illuminating the space with creative light placements and choosing materials that mimic natural elements, such as Centiva’s Contour Series vinyl planks, help to relate the interior to the outdoors. By imitating objects from the golf course like clouds and golf clubs, commonly used interior objects become artistic elements, adding novelty to the space.
